Church Green

Spent a lovely morning with my sister at a felt art workshop run by Priory Church to celebrate Priory 900. My friend ran it, she's a successful felt artist, so it was great to have a go at putting something together and seeing how it's done. I made a poppy landscape and learned how to make soap pebbles. It was thoroughly enjoyable and I could have carried on longer!

Sister and I then had lunch in a nearby pub then sauntered back to the Priory to take photos.

After waving bon voyage to sister, I took myself off to Currys and bought a new dslr. My Olympus died back in June, so I'm now a proud owner of a Canon 1100D with an additional telephoto lense. I never really felt the love for my deceased Olympus, but I'm really liking my new Canon. Great shots every time! What a treat! =D

All in all a fabulous day!
