Julie's Granny

Julie works in my office. When she joined us many years ago, I recognized her from our childhood days because she used to visit her granny who lived on the same road as me.

Julie is three or four years older than me - I was in primary school and she was in high school. She always seemed very grown up - I recall her telling me that she was learning 'Esperanto' at school. How exotic! What a useful language that turned out to be!

She found this photo and brought it to me to show my dad. Unsurprisingly, he didn't remember her granny - I did though. She was as nice as she looks.
