When I stopped working weekends last year a Saturday afternoon guilty pleasure began to emerge. Just like the girl in the Sky advert I find Jeff Stelling's melifluous tones rather wonderful and I like nothing more than making myself comfy on the sofa and falling asleep to Soccer Saturday for an hour or two.

Unfortunately it clashed with some stupid cricket match on Sky today so I had to tune in to BBC Radio Humberside's wonderfully amateur coverage of Scunthorpe v Northampton. Not at all the same but the same result - me asleep after 10 minutes.

I would rather the lovely Jeff had broken the bad news about Northampton's equaliser but you can't have everything. It could be worse, Sporty Boy went to the game so he has a long journey home with yet another feeling of two points lost.
