Up in the big big sky

Woken up before 7 today by Marnie sniffing every inch of my face (not normal)! Still don't know what she's making of the whole Bella situation but we can't move for her wanting on lap for fuss.

Still struggling to accept she's gone but we didn't want to be sitting around all maudlin. So, we decided to head out for a dose of fresh air. Had the best chocolate & beetroot cake at Archerfield's Walled Garden - our first time there and we'll definitely be back. Then a walk along the beach at Gullane under a very heavy sky.

The return of Strictly tonight (not sure the husband has realised this yet...) so I think it's gonna be an evening in front of the box.
