This little alley.....

....is located directly behind the Feldherrnhalle at Odeonsplatz. It is known as 'Drückebergergasse' which could be translated as 'slackers alley'. It represents a piece of history: to avoid to say 'Heil Hitler' to the Nazi guards who stood as 'guards of honour' at a monument for fallen Nazis, many residents of Munich choose to cross from one side to the other behind the Feldherrnhalle, through this little alley..... the bronze cobblestones are a memento for the people, who choose this way to protest against or avoid conflict with the Nazis...
