Turkish memorial

This is a memorial/celebration of liberation put up on the coast road to the west of Kyrenia, where the Turkish troops landed at Karaoğlanoğlu in July 1974.

It's an abstract piece, made of concrete, vaguely suggestive of a piece artillery. The locals have dubbed it "the Turkish erection".
