Blue

I went to Huntley Meadows wildlife refuge park today was surprised to find very few critters. Many parts of the marsh were completely dry (haven't had much rain in several months). The county has had problems with this park drying up in the past and is actively working on creating damns around the park to keep this from happening in the future.

The section of the park where I took this photo of the Blue Heron is still OK because the beavers have already created their own damns. I did get to see one adult muskrat and a baby. You can see them on Flickr.
