Competition day and Family

This is a photo of my eldest son and his lovely family, I always feel just that little bit more complete when they are around.

Competition day today and it was a huge success with many entries in all categories. Steep competition and lots of interesting photos on display - along with some amazing craft entries - so many talented people in one small village.

Happy to say the trophy for photography is back in its niche on my bookcase for another year.

Photography like all art forms is certainly in the eye of the beholder - the images that I thought would do well did less well than others which I thought were just ok!
