B&W it is then...

I had several choices for today. SInce I now bit the bullet (full membership) and have a "Blipfolio", I'll post the runners up when appropriate. Some days it's a challenge to get just one...

These milkweed pods were a beautiful shade of green, dappled by sunlight, surrounded by other shades of green. No matter what I did, and I try and minimize PP when I can, I could neither capture the texture of the pods, nor make the entire image a dreamy green (see BigHill's corn). Thus I turned to B&W. CS6 has awesome sliders that allow you to control colour in the B&W (I know sounds weird, eh??).

I think I like the texture of the B&W, more than I miss the hues of green.
