Busy Morning...........

................what with lots of things to do and my lovely neighbour, "R",who has memory problems and usually comes on Saturday mornings for coffee at about 9.30. turned up at 8.10am!!!! (and stayed until 10.15) which rather altered my plans for the morning. (Nearly forgot to ring my Sister, whose Birthday it is!!)
Her loss of memory is very sad but can be funny too - she was very upset at the news that Princess Diana's death was being looked at again - "of course" she said "it was SO long ago - I was only a young girl when that happened - so why all the fuss now". (I would mention that R celebrated her 90th Birthday last Saturday!)
I gently mentioned that she would have been 74 at the time and she said "Oh it seems a lot longer ago than that! - my memory does play tricks these days." She has a great sense of humour and burst out laughing and said "Well, I wasn't as young as I thought I was, was I" I asked her if she minded me telling you about it and she said "I hope it will make folk laugh so you tell them!" What a sport!
Anyway, after all that, my Blip today is just a little corner of my garden in the sun!

Anni and Himself have arrived (on time) at their holiday destination - I don't think I am supposed tell you where they have gone - all will be revealed.

A bright sunny start to the day but quite chilly - only 59 Deg.F at the moment but the sun is still shining.
