Working hard or hardly working?

This was my view all day - I really need to clean and organise my desk, that pile is a combination of uni work and medical stuff.

I spent pretty much all of today at my desk doing my assignment, in which I compared and contrasted the male leads in (500) Days of Summer and Raiders of the Lost Ark. The amazing thing is I got it done. I had a one day extension for this assignment and I probably didn't even need it, but because I had the extension I decided to save the editing and submitting until tomorrow. I've written the whole thing, though, so I'm pretty pleased.

I went out for a drink with Lucy and Liv tonight. Lucy's leaving next week for Warwick (take 2) and I am so jealous. This time a year ago I'd started my exchange adventure - Mum and I were in Istanbul and I was anxiously awaiting my arrival at Warwick. It's hard to believe it's been a year since I left. I want to go back even though it wouldn't be the same, and I'm actually pretty happy in Melbourne right now. So many conflicting feelings!

A boring photo for a pretty boring day, but it was a good day - I finished my assignment and had a nice drink with Lucy and Liv. All in all, a success!
