Waiting & Wishing

A rather stressful Friday, although, some good developments at work. Made a presentation to a VP and he was very impressed with my "excellent work." My boss was pleased; says he rarely says "excellent" - now my boss is bringing me with her to London to meet more of the team and execs and launch a task force to implement my proposed plan.

Then I come home to a cluttered house and hungry kids and remember that balancing work & life is the real challenge.

So as I sat at the pizzeria waiting for our Friday-night take out I was wishing I was on vacation again :)
