"Fernication"

I think we've actually clocked up four continuous wet-less days, I think it's a drought.

Certain plants definitely do: I had to scamper (EH? at my age) around the garden with the hose, which ended up in the waterfall "Header tank".

While out there I spotted a number of fern "seedlings" (Sporelings?) in the odd location or two.

A moss-covered rock just above water-level being one of them.

The ugly paw is serving the dual roll of a size check and more importantly stopping the old fellah and his RICOH fetching up swimming in the deep end, all 2'6" of it.
