Fishing

Another great day in paradise. The lawns are done, the washing too and the beds made. A quick bite for lunch and it was time to go out to enjoy the weather.
The car hasn't been out in a while so the battery needed a good charge so an out of town journey was called for. Meandered to St Andrews south of Timaru, to where we could access the beach. Looked as others had the same idea, a wedding party getting the shots, and fishermen and their families were enjoying the calm and flat ocean with a bit of surf-casting. Didn't see anything getting caught, but it was a nice day of 18 degrees C. Summer may be a cracker. Here's hoping!
