Complicated corners!

I could hardly call this "Almost, but not quite!" could I? Oh the fun of trying to decorate when one wall is one colour, and the other another and the ceiling is supposed to be white! Then stick a motion sensor in the corner too and it all gets awkward. As you can see I managed to get pink (plum colour!) paint on the ceiling, which fortunately I haven't started to paint yet.

I think tomorrow will be a second coat on the 'nutmeg' and 'plum' walls, and that the ceiling will probably have to wait until next week.

When we opened up the plum paint this morning we were somewhat shocked at the colour as it is much brighter, pinker than the paint card implied. Hopefully when it dries on the wall it will tone down a bit! Anyway its better than the original magnolia!

I wonder how often we believe what the 'advertising blurb' says and then get shocked to find that the truth is a bit different. Or that what was said may be true, but what was not said or was implied is another matter. With people we will often get let down or surprised. However Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life". He doesn't disappoint!
