Orchid (again, sorry)

Top shot was taken 5th August when this plant has just started to flower and the lower picture today....still going strong, no flowers lost yet. Amazed at the contrast in the colours such a glorious deep red on the front of the flower and a rather creamy peachy colour behind. On what has been a bit of a grey wet miserable day it has been a lovely bright sight on my window ledge at work.

It has felt really autumnal today, especially after the heat of yesterday. Went to work unprepared for rain, got wet feet when I went out for lunch and my new brolly that I bought during the deluge I had left at home, doh.

Looking forward to the weekend and to doing not a lot!
