Talisman

For the past four days I have been wearing my bracelet that was given to me by my old form a few years ago. It now has some charms on it from my friends at my previous school. The pupils had put some flower charms on it and my friends in the history department gave me the elephant - my favourite animal, and musical note - for my love of singing (not necessarily in tune all the time!). I wore it as a reminder of many fun times with the pupils (They were such a lovely bunch and I was particularly fond of this group) and some thoughtful individuals. I do not believe in luck but I found it comforting wearing it.

Today was another busy but good day. I'm looking forward to switching off my alarm which has been set for 5.25am for the past four days.
