Croyde Beach
Our first night of holiday did not contain a lot of sleep due to two very excited to be on holiday children. So early morning I took the little ones for a walk around the meadow where we were staying to give Wife a rest. As we wandered we came across some other holiday makers by a pen with some pigmy goats and piglets in. It turned out to be feeding time which was fun to get involved with. We returned to our holiday home to Wife who, as I had failed to tell her I was taking them out so she could rest had given up on sleep expecting us back at any moment.
We headed out to Croyde beach to enjoy the sun, sand and surf. Incredibly the first chap I saw carrying a surf board had a Southsea Strong Island sticker on it. I enjoyed making sand castles, Boy enjoyed knocking them down and Wife and Girl had fun charging about in the dunes. The little ones and I had a paddle, but had more fun slashing in the pools on the way out to the low tide than in the waves themselves.
Back at the holiday home we hit the pool where with a fair amount of parental support Girl swam about and Boy spent a great deal of time on an inlatable jet ski ordering us grown ups about. They loved the pool.
