Totting up
Some forty years ago I used to push a broom across the floor of this building. The chain has since gone to the wall and the building is now occupied by a discount store.
After all this time it is strange to see that the floor covering is still the one I used to sweep, in fact nothing inside has altered all that much except the new shelving.
The pose on this guy reminded me of something else I had to do regularly, and that was to kneel down and scrape off the blobs of chewing gum that had been so thoughtfully deposited by the inconsiderate.
