Plantation walk

Visited Tyntesfield for the first time today.

The house is fascinating, even though it is only partially open. They had the most amazing views from their bedrooms and a gorgeous library but my favourite part was the plantation walk. It was very steep on the trek up but was well worth it for all the views. I loved this part of the plantation with the regimented trees.

We also took the chance to take a look at the Oops a Daisy Gromit - making that no.37 for us :)

Will definitely go back for another visit some time. Would be good to check out the gardens in a different season and also to see more of the house as they gradually open it up.
