Moth

A late Speckled Yellow Moth (I think) which has set up camp on our spare bedroom door.

According to the book, they favour woodland rides, rough ground and hedgerows and fly during daylight in May & June so what it's doing here in September, I don't know. Perhaps it's planning to hibernate.
