Elusive Parrots

Although, surely one of the noisiest creatures on the planet, and despite the fact that where I am in Spain, there are hundreds of them, they are very difficult to photograph.
They tend to roost in dense foliage so getting a clear shot is nigh on impossible. Also, they are very fast flyers and I have neither the patience or skills to get a shot at speed.
This shot came about after I waited for 20 minutes beneath a tree I had seen them fly to.
Although not the best technical shot I took of them, I liked the fact that I caught them preening each other.
