Autumn

A definite change in the air here today. Yesterday I noticed that suddenly there was a lack of swallows round the house - I guess they felt the change first and took it as their sign to head south. Always makes me sad to see them go. I wish them all huge luck on their mammoth journey and can't wait to see them all next year.

This morning was nice but much cooler with a wee nip in the air. Spotted these autumnal colours on the way home.

So curried lentil soup with crusty bread tonight and the fire on I think while we snuggle up and watch the new Star Trek. Oh and with wine of course! Much needed after a long week.
