The wild and windy sea
Had a good morning at Art and we were joined by a little dog called Zack today. He was so sweet and well behaved and I was going to blip him, but the photo didn't come out too well. The rain was pouring most of the morning, but by 1pm when I left there it was brightening up. I stopped in the car park of a farm shop to eat a picnic lunch (didn't buy any fruit there in the end as they had a very poor choice today) and then went on to Littlehampton. I arrived half-an-hour before an appointment with the osteopath so decided to have a walk down to the sea. It was quite impressive down there - very windy and the waves were crashing in. There were two ladies down there who had been swimming and also a lifeguard out with his board on the sea. I took loads of photos and caught one of the ladies at the edge of the sea and the lifeguard on the left bobbing about in the sea. This was probably the best photo, though there were a few others that I was toying with the idea of posting.
Sarah, the osteopath, was quite pleased with how my back was as I hadn't been to see her for about 7 weeks or so. Her manipulation of my back was sending a lot of pain down my right leg, so she took it more gently and it settled down. She also picked up on the fact that my left shoulder was very tight - I had realised that I had tensed up at Art as I was trying to paint a very detailed small butterfly! I said to her that I would have to come and see her after every Art lesson!!
Called in at the other farm shop where I've been going recently and stocked up on loads of fruit - plums, greengages (gorgeous!), nectarines, grapefruit, apples and bananas - so plenty to keep us going for the next little while!!
