Old Fashioned Rose

There was a tiny sprinkling of drizzle early this morning. Just enough to create a couple of drops of water on the last few Old Fashioned roses in the garden. They have a very strong sweet smell and flower all summer without a great deal of attention. However (there is usually a down side) the plants are so prickly we almost need full armour when we butcher cut them back next month.
