Buckingham Palace

Had another hectic day in London. First we did the open top bus trip which was well worth the money. (Tip - book the tickets on the internet cos you pay £23 instead of the full price £30!). Part of the tour is a boat trip on the Thames so we got off the bus at Tower Bridge and took the boat to Westminster bridge. Great trip. Dave (Ali's brother in law) and his friend John then showed us round the back streets of Westminster where the rich and famous live and also some very sociable pubs. Well kernackered by the end of the day! Off to Worcester tomorrow for the second half of Jim and Kay's GB tour.
