A soggy moggy.
Arthur McKenzie Whitebeard, to give him his full name, although we rarely use it, got caught in the rain and came inside to sit on a soft throw on the top of the armchair. It has been a cold drizzly day so far.
Arthur really dislikes it when his fur gets a soaking.
Such a sudden change from yesterday's warmth here and the 30 degrees my Mum had in Croydon.
We have resisted putting on the central heating but it may go on this evening for a while.
Maria and I went to Oswaldtwistle Mills to buy Paul's birthday present, a nice green James Pringle crew neck pullover. The style will suit him and it will be perfect for the Autumn/ Winter, if it is like last year's level of cold.
Enough of thinking about Winter !
Arthur is now drying off and starting to settle down contentedly and dream.
Things are going well with Maria's preparations for university.
She is meticulously organised and has a tick list for the main items needed for her room, bedding, bathroom and cooking utensils.
She bought a few things today, including a fold down plastic colander.
She has already made friends with many of the people in her year through the uni website for freshers.
The first week there sounds like great fun, with lots of planned entertainment before the more serious studies begin.
Have a good weekend blipper friends and I hope you have some decent weather.
