Eve mastered the art of coping with sand on beautiful Utah beach. We also watched a black horse rather majestically galloping along the shore.

Meanwhile Mr B got some free education by listening into various tour guides telling paying visitors all about the D-day landings. Hard to imagine the terror of those times as we sat and gratefully enjoyed a peaceful afternoon in the sun.
