Travels Through A Lens

On Guard

I met up with Mr John at lunch time to see a photography exhibition. I thought the space was great with an arty style cafe where we had lunch and a book shop I managed not to part with any money. I was trying to persuade Mr John that he should put some of his 'series' photos into a self published book as there are lots out there no where near as good as his photos. Hint hint!

Took this on the way to the market which is at the back of the Corn Exchange. Lu Lu, who Mr John has blipped before, was on guard although I doubt she'll put up much of a fight but you never know. The Corn Exchange is an amazing building that in my opinion isn't being utilised as well as it could be but that's the economic times we live in.

Gold seems to be big business and I caught some of a tv documentary the other night showing the traders in Swansea market all struggling to keep going yet a jeweller who started buying gold, i.e. the jewellery people have in their drawers/boxes at home, is now turning over millions of pounds from his market stall as gold prices have increased so much.

Thanks again Mr John for the chance to escape the desk and e-mails for an hour or so to talk about and look at all things photography. I could spend all day doing that but alas I have to earn a crust.

Now where's that gold jewellery?

Thank you all for your comments hearts and stars on peek a boo :)
