In flight

I found myself driving down the coast from Kip Marina near Greenock this afternoon. Stopping for a much needed cup of coffee we watched what I think were Oyster Catchers on the rocks for a while. This is my attempt at catching one in flight.

Why so far from home? We were taking youngest daughter Helen, to join her big sister and Dad for a cruise around the coast for a few days, weather permitting.
