Souix Narrows Minigolf

Souix Narrows is a tiny little town with a lot of tourist traffic going through it. Totem poles and teepees are much in evidence.
I called Helga this morning to make sure the women's golf league was still on. Several of them head south for the winter after Labor Day. He husband had an accident while we were gone. A couple of his fingers were partially crushed by a log going into the wood chipper. They were amputated up to the first joint. He is in good spirits though. It was his left hand and he is right handed. He's been joking that he is lucky to have lived this long without losing any parts.
It was a beautiful, cool, sunny day. Perfect for golf. We went for lunch at the Mine Shaft afterwards.
