Still Stressed!

This pond in The Botanic Gardens looks a vision of peace, stillness and tranquility. Not from behind the camera it wasn’t.
I walked home through the Botanics in the hope of getting a blip, but as with my usual timing I got to the pond at about 10 minutes to closing and just as I get there a ‘friendly’ duck decides to go for swim, ruining the mirror like surface. He, or it could have been a she, decided fairly quickly that a late dip was not really required and got out to have a chat with his, or her, mates. This left me wondering if I could hang till the ripples receded before I was swept up in the clearing sweep of the park. I think I made it!
