Thud!

I was just merrily sitting in my bedroom, about to go and get some lunch, when I heard an almighty thud. When I went to investigate, I saw the tell tale 'pigeon has crashed into window' marks, and looking down saw this poor little fellow flailing around on the flat roof of our utility room underneath.
It managed to get itself off the roof and into the middle of the lawn, where it floundered for long enough for me to worry that it had done proper damage and would either require me to rescue or end up as easy cat fodder.
I eventually tried to get close, and was relieved that it flew off, clearly it was just in shock!
