Beached!

As housing estates go, Dalgety Bay is a pretty nice one! This pair of boats are sitting at a little harbour beside Dalgety Bay sailing club, and they were set off by the rather pleasant early autumn sun we are getting just now.

Across the Forth, on the right hand side of the picture, is Arthur's Seat in the City of Edinburgh.

Towards the left, the island behind the tree is Inchcolm Island. This island, which is famous for its Augustine Abbey, was heavily fortified during WW2 and many of those fortifications are visible to this day.
