Making memories

The 5th September is typically a tough day. My eldest son should today be celebrating his 5th birthday but he is no longer with us. This year has been doubly hard as he should also have been starting school, possibly even today. We are extremely lucky to have been blessed with our wee man. He is our reason to smile again, our rainbow. So this year, as he is a little bit older I was determined that we would do something special. The last thing I want is for our wee man to see us sad and upset. "Life is for the living" they say, so live we did. We spent the day at South Lakes Wild Animal Park making memories. So many pictures taken, but this was by far my highlight (no pun intended!) You have no idea how tall these beautiful creatures are until you get up close. Not the best picture by any means, but the best bit for me.
