Another good day at work. Went with yr 2, 3, & 4's to Devizes school for swimming and sport. Spending all afternoon out on astro turf supervising football drills!

Wasted 30 mins at doc's waiting for my appointment. Typical, the one time I'm early, they are massively late! Oh well blood pressure is good but still weigh too much. Nurse asked me why I thought that was. I had to bite my lip from saying the obvious!

Quote of the day yesterday from L - she complained she was too hot in her loft bed last night, but couldn't understand why it was hotter up high.
" mummy, it should be colder up here as I'm nearer to space and its cold up there. It should be hotter near the ground as its closer to the lava!" - perfectly logical to an 8 year old!
