"Be Excellent To Each Other And To Your Ship"

Those are the words carved into the wheel of the tall ship Lynx in port this weekend.

The ship is a replica of the original Lynx built by Thomas Kemp in 1812. The ship was used to defend America's freedom from the British during the War of 1812.

The current Lynx was built in 2001 and serves as an educational ship.

The Dockside tour we took of the Lynx this morning was quite cool and the ship's crew were all very nice as well.
