Rich pickings

Our little veggie patch seems to be at its best right now - typical that we are going on holiday on Saturday and won't be here to make the most of it! The tomatoes are beginning to ripen at last (well, some of them are, anyway) but even so I'm going to make another batch of relish.

In other news, I saw lots of harvesting going on on the journey to Illminster and back - but none of it where I could stop. There are plenty of laybys on the A303 but all of them seem to be bounded by dense hedges or trees so no blip opportunities there!

In even more other news, the George Hotel won the Homelea Challenge Trophy in Frome in Bloom's hotel and guest house category, and the Westway shopping centre won the Mayor's Cup for best business area.
