The South Downs

Another hot sunny day, and I joined the walking group again this afternoon. This time we met at a car park near the Jack & Jill windmills, and then walked across the South Downs. The views from the top were stunning and we went through fields of cows and sheep, and past a pig farm. It was very difficult to decide what to blip as there was so much choice, but I decided on this one as I like the circular patterns and colours where obviously it's gets filled with water at different levels.

Once we'd finished the walk we went to a pub nearby called The Jack & Jill and sat in the garden where I had a pint of lager shandy - it was well deserved! Since getting home though, I'm absolutely shattered. I don't know how far we walked but it was about 27 degrees and we walked up and downhill for nearly 3 hours, so it was a very good workout.

If you're interested, I've put my other shots in my blipfolio.

In other news today, Louis has been to his new dog groomer - the lady lives round the corner from us and has a room in her house where she grooms them. She's very nice, is cheaper than going to the 'doggy salon' and Louis liked her which is the most important thing. And on another note, my mum has flown to Russia today with my cousin - they're staying 3 nights in Moscow and then travelling overnight on a first class sleeper train to St Petersburg for another couple of nights. She was very excited and I can't wait to see her photos!
