Arnison & Sons

We had a few hours free today and swithered what to do. It wasn't quite enough time to go a decent walk so we took a trip to Penrith. First thing to do was to try out a cafe called The Narrow Bar. We've often looked at it but never fancied what was on that day. Well after eating there, if I was to give the food a title it would have to be - Unfulfilled Promises. There was one good thing to come out of it though. It happens to be sited straight across the road from a shop called Arnison & Sons which was established in 1742. It's an incredible olde worlde place both inside and out. This is a small part of the exterior.
