this is a small part of an amazing cut glass and light sculpture from an ayrshire artist (whose name, to my shame, I have forgotten). It's part of the contemporary art exhibit at the Dick Institute in Kilmarnock. It's rather eye catching, though unfortuately is displayed in quite a bright room, I imagine it would be even more stunning in a dark setting.
