Toes and claws

The woodpecker is still a work in progress.
After several false starts with wire and epoxy resins I finally decided to try to carve the parts for the feet from lime wood.
They need lots of tweaking yet but I think the concept is viable.
Bit of paint, bit of glue and jobs a good 'un ( I hope)!!
