Smiling Monk

Actually the real title for this sculpture was 'Kneeling Monk' but what drew me to it was the amazingly warm smile on his face. I would like to have met him (if he wasn't made of stone)
He is part of the sculpture trail at Norton Priory. Today was my first visit. My Mum, who is down for a few days, came with me and it was great to wander around the grounds and ruins with someone who wasn't a)bored b)climbing all over things c)arguing with his brother
