Highland Cattle

also known as 'Hairy Cow'. There's three of them in a field near me.

Apparently the last day of summer today, beautifully still, gentle misty light.

M-i-l is fine. I left her on her own for four hours yesterday. She didn't drink her flask of tea and only ate half the lunch I prepared beforehand. She's complaining of severe pain but refuses painkillers. Goodness only knows how she's going to manage when she gets back to her own place... as she's mentioned once or twice.

Gulp.
