Fête is coming

Stunning autumnal morning and it's the first day back to school for my son. We have a half hour drive through the prettiest English countryside and Sunday will be one of the local village fêtes. It appears to be a tradition for the houses to make a scarecrow for their roadside.
I just couldn't resist stopping to capture this one with my phone before I dashed off to make it to work by 8am.
