Hilltop funghi

We went a run up to the Black Linn reservoir again tonight. Tired legs, didn't feel so good. We took Daisy and Cassie, left the old fella Bo at home, it's too much for him now.

These little toadstools (are they? Or are they just red mushrooms) really caught my eye in the woods at the top of the craigs. Now that I look at it at home, I really like the light in this shot. It looks like a studio shot. What you can't tell , hopefully, is that while I was on my hands and knees trying to take this, both dogs wandered over to see what I was up to and trod on two out of the three mushrooms, breaking the stalks. I had to prop them up to get the photo. Bloody vandals!!
