Lonely Yacht

It's not really lonely - it's just that you can't see the rest!! This view is from West Bay looking across towards to Hunterston and the West Kilbride hills and to Farland Point on Cumbrae on the left. It was actually a lovely walk this morning, but it was dull.

The weather cheered up and stayed nice all day. It was a fab day at school and I got stacks of paper piles filed and sorted, and have a manageable "do it" pile for tomorrow! I meet some more partner colleagues tomorrow - 2 of whom I am going to be leaning on heavily for a wee while...I have nice coffee and biscuits ready!!!

I skyped Susan and she is really feeling very sorry for herself. She is on heavy medication and naturally it is getting her down - she is stuck in a room and has very few visitors. She hopes to return to work on Friday...I hope she does because she will be in the depths of doom and gloom if she doesn't. Poor wee soul.

I went out for an evening walk with Barbora and Margaret and the the dog and the cat!! We walked through the Garrison, right round the periphery of the Cathedral and out onto the back lane at the farm and back round past the school to the house - pitch black and very atmospheric!!!

It is such a lovely island and there are so many places to explore and people to get to know! It's so exciting! I can't wait to show it to my friends when they all come to visit.
