Little trooper.....

Today's DDWSept13 challenge entry - Battered

I planted.....and by planted I mean threw at the ground....a load of wildflower seeds a few months ago, and this little one, and two of its brothers arose recently. It's a testament to its toughness that its still standing, as despite my intricate Jazz and Diva barrier I erected around the plants, they rarely need an excuse to "accidentally" pound it down and trample over everything....so despite being "battered" this delicate poppy still stands!!

On the work front, I'm still disgusted at the unprofessional attitude of our boss literally just walking out on us without any warning, handover, replacement, words or anything.....but despite that I went in today determined our little team get together and have a meeting to organise how we will get through the coming months. We've been left with no manager and nobody seems to care but we are a solid team and have worked out how we're going to sort all our individual jobs, rotas etc between us. And I feel like a weight has been lifted.....onwards and upwards......
