Old Barn and proud Owner.

I changed my cycling day this week - and what a beautiful day it was today. In fact, I could almost complain that the sky was too blue, but that would be really ungrateful.

Anyway - to photographic matters. I often cycle along the lane where this old barn is situated. I have stopped before to photograph it, but to do it justice, it is necessary to walk a short way into the private land - so I abandoned the idea.

Today however, I spotted the owner just emerging. (His dog didn't seem too keen on me -other than as a tasty treat). I tried to get him involved in conversation to discover some history about the place, but unfortunately, he is profoundly deaf.

That said, he was quite happy for me to take a picture and even posed alongside his barn. As for the dog, he just wanted me off the premises.

I'm not deterred though and plan to take the nice man a printed version.
