Is there a campus in Scotland or even the whole of the UK that is surrounded with more history than the one on our very own doorstep.

History and battlefields surround the scenic campus at Stirling with one of the most famous of them all the Sir William Wallace led victory at Stirling Bridge commemorated by The National Wallace Monument which stands guard over the university grounds.

I was up at the university today on business and the campus which will soon be a hub of activity with fresh and not so fresh students was actually over ran with builders who were working furiously to finish new office and accommodation blocks ahead of the new semester in a few weeks.
